Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
This policy applies to Troll Tech’s current public apps, including Xactions, Midday Calendar, Rocket Transfer, and PowerKit. While each app has different features and permissions, we follow the same approach across them: collect as little as possible, keep processing local whenever practical, and leave you in control.
How We Handle Data
- •No account registration is required for the main experience.
- •We do not serve third-party advertising.
- •The current public builds do not include third-party behavioral tracking SDKs.
- •Files, text, device information, and network information are processed only when you actively use a related feature.
- •Payment information is handled by Apple App Store. We do not directly store your card or payment account details.
Xactions
Xactions is a macOS assistive input app designed to reduce the physical burden of repetitive computer tasks for people with repetitive strain injuries, limited hand mobility, Parkinson's disease, or other conditions that make sustained manual input difficult.
Accessibility Permission: Xactions requires macOS Accessibility permission to perform repetitive keyboard, mouse, and text input on your behalf. That permission is used locally on your Mac and does not, by itself, send your content to our servers.
Local Input Settings and Configuration: Xactions lets you save commonly used key presses, clicks, text input preferences, wait preferences, and related settings. This configuration is stored locally by default. We do not host that content on remote servers.
Diagnostic Information: If the app crashes, anonymous diagnostic information may be generated through Apple-provided system mechanisms to help improve stability.
Rocket Transfer
Rocket Transfer lets you send files or text from a mobile device to your Mac within the same local network.
LAN Transfers: Files and text move within your local network and do not pass through Troll Tech servers. We cannot view the file content you transfer over your LAN.
Local Network and Notification Permissions: The app may request local network access to establish the LAN connection and notification permission to alert you when content arrives. These permissions support the transfer flow you explicitly use.
Purchase Information: Rocket Transfer subscriptions, trials, and one-time purchases are processed by Apple App Store. We do not directly hold your payment details, though Apple may provide limited transaction status information so the app can verify purchase access.
PowerKit
PowerKit is a local-first workspace for image, text, file, reference, and lightweight productivity tasks on macOS.
Content You Choose: When you choose files, folders, images, PDFs, text, or export locations, PowerKit may read or write that content to perform the feature you requested.
Screen Capture (OCR and Screen Zoom): When you use the text extraction (OCR) or screen zoom feature, PowerKit captures only the screen region you explicitly select. The captured image is processed locally on your device to extract text or display a magnified preview. Temporary files are deleted after the action completes. This data is not uploaded to any server, and is not used for advertising, analytics, or tracking.
Local Preferences: The app may store limited preferences and interface state locally, such as language, appearance, menu bar visibility, or limited recent tool state.
Network Access: Other than when you explicitly open the website, contact support, or request public IP information in a network utility, the main experience does not depend on remote accounts or cloud sync.
LightImage
LightImage is a macOS image compression and format conversion app that processes image files locally on your Mac without requiring network uploads.
File Access: LightImage only accesses image files you actively choose by dragging in or opening them. We cannot access files you have not explicitly provided.
Local Processing: All image processing happens locally on your Mac. Outputs are saved to the location you specify and are not uploaded to our servers.
Diagnostic Information: If the app crashes, anonymous diagnostic information may be generated through Apple-provided system mechanisms to help improve stability.
Midday Calendar
Midday Calendar is a calendar app for iOS and macOS that brings together the Gregorian calendar, lunar dates, almanac details, solar terms, holidays, and countdowns.
Local Content: The countdowns you create, interface preferences, and related calendar settings primarily stay on your device and do not depend on an account system.
Widgets and Displayed Information: Home screen or desktop widgets show data already available inside the app so you can glance at today and upcoming dates more quickly.
Data Handling Principle: The app is not built around advertising or behavioral tracking, and it does not require unnecessary personal information for the core calendar experience.
Retention and Deletion
Most app-related data is stored on your device. You can usually control it by:
- •Changing or resetting settings inside the app
- •Deleting files created or saved by the app
- •Deleting local app data or uninstalling the app
Children’s Privacy
Our apps are not specifically directed to children, and we do not intentionally collect children’s identity information.
Policy Updates
We may update this policy if product features, permissions, payment models, or platform requirements change in the future. Updated versions will be posted on this page.
